Pop up error help plz ...

All of the sudden, this morning I keep getting MS error pop ups...

" Media Center Reciever Service has encountered a problem and needs to close ... "

2nd window is : " Data Execution Prevention - MS Windows
To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program.

Name Media Center Receiver Service.

Then it asks if I want to debug / send report ...

I tried to windows updates and system restore a couple different dates and system restore failed and was unable to restore ???

Any thoughts?

Sounds like maybe the Vundo virus. Use VundoFix it is a cleaning tool made by Atribune. I would start there to make sure it is not one of the variatiopns of Vundo, whaich has limited ways to extract.

You didn't open that email that said "DON'T OPEN...VIRUS INSIDE" did you~?~

Google for McRepair.exe; it should fix your problem...
