I never cared to wear them down anyways. I'm a very conservative rider and will always end up wearing down the middle long before I wear down the chicken strips. May be the reason why I get so many miles out of my tires.

It would be interesting to weigh a worn out set to see how much lighter it is.

I love the Q3's. Switched from the 2 ct's . The Dunlops heat up faster (according to my TPMS) and I think the carcass is stiffer as they are better breakers, especially with low tire pressures. But I would take a set of Michelins if they were giving them out! Most tires are generally pretty good these days.

Which TPMS are you running?

Was running the one Pashnit was selling (forgot who it was by). Now I have the Garmin units that can be monitored right from the garmin GPS. I also keep my thermometer with me along with the tire gauge. Nice to check occasionally to see what the temps are.
