Im gonna keep a close eye. I am gonna wait and see what the reviews say about it before i leap into a new one. It will have to be a real leap forward in all areas for me to trade up from my 06. Of course if they get the same crack smoker that they used in 2007 for the colors then I will either get black or just wait.....

Yea I had to drive 4 hours to find an 06... The paint on the 07 left me pretty much cold

Don't be knocking my 07' Blue.  That is one of the finest colors Suzuki has put out.

2. Exhaust changed to reflect little brothers styling (the 1k)
3. BNG
4. LED lights for both brake & turn signals. Plus, upgraded LCD display (with gear indicator).
5. Same platform with some minor changes to either a bigger bore or longer stroke... (tried, true, proven..)
6. Will more than likely have the S-DMS (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector).
7. They will come with adjustable foot pegs.
8. Lighter frame.... That should about cover the givens!

I see this as being about as close as you can realisticaly get and not kill us on the cost of the bike.

I'm also willing to bet it will have a little more of a chisled look like the 1k7 also

I'd also love them to do what MV did with the f4 312 and stick up a big middle finger up to the 186mph limited speed agreement, at least for the first year out, but i know they wont. they don't have the ballz for that

I'ld like to see little less weight, same with the hp out of the box but I don't know how with all the regs. out there without major changes. Radial brakes I think are a given, Perhaps the adj. map(that might be good?). I just hope we don't lose the long distance comfort.

Talked it over with Sue alot, she wants to get what every comes out as long as it is bigger & faster, god I love her. But if it is going to be too sporty, or I should say not as comfortable for her on long rides I'm gonna past. We'll get an '07 in black and send the eng. to Lee. I'm hoping for a good compromize between the two. Yes the '01 may be moving to a new home or just turning into a track only bike (Iwish we had a bigger track up here). Not sure yet. It's been a great bike and she sure doesn't owe me anything.
