Pair Valve

I removed the valve but left the hard lines. I connected the hard lines together with 3/8 hose. Rubber hose was used to connect to the valve so I guess they will with-stand the heat from the header. I plugged the small line and capped of the hole in the airbox. I should have taken pics but it was a ##### doing the job with the header and forgot. Does anyone have an issues with what I have done, I am going riding tommorrow and do not want to get stranded.

Pay the $20.00 and get the block offs.

What you did shouldn't cause any problems but why not spend the $20 bucks and do it right.

That's a decent question though... What if I just plug the hose at the Airbox? Will this cause some sorta harm to my bike or cause the PAIR to fail in some way that harms my bike?

I thought about doing something like that, but instead chose to just buy the block off kit with my exhaust. I think it is the more reliable way to do it.
