Paint question

My new to me Busa has 3 small scuff marks on the left side. They are down to the plastic. (Happened when bike fell over and slid part way down on previous owners car). I checked color-rite and here is what I am thinking. I can order an aerosol can in the 05LE color. I will pull the fairing, mask of the spot that needs to be painted (similiar to isolating a surgical site) then very lightly shoot that spot. Afterwards buff it out with light rubbing compound to polish it up. What do you think?

If you want it done right,go to a professional,they can "spot" the area like you said and you wont be able to tell.

Should I order a touch up jar, aerosol or 1/2 pint of the paint. That way I don't have to depend on them to match it.
