No, that one was in Ohio. This one is Tennessee.

Big difference here that I see is that, this article appears, at least on the surface, to be legitimate. If the Attorney general issues a statement, and court documents have been seen, well, it doesn't look good for the sheriff. Sounds like he needs to go bye bye.

They took him to another county...I guess they didn't want to give anyone he has arrested any opportunities to even the score

He has new charges involving running drugs today

I guess that old saying rings true "What ever goes around, comes around". Very sad what a little money will do to a person. Hard to believe that a Sheriff probably making a decent salary would throw it all away for $17,000. I guess maybe he was looking at getting big bucks over time. What a disgrace to the law enforcement community.
