I read somewhere there's only 100,000 Busas in the U.S.
Doesn't seem like very many when you consider all the cities in the US.
These might turn out to be collectors items some day.!!
I imagine there's quite a few of them that end up getting scrapped
and used for parts every year.

3300... that's it that's all..

I would love it if our busa became collectable, but prob never gonna happen. Not even the old turbo honda's are collectable. Look how few those were.

Anything mass produced will never be a collectors item. 100,000 Hayabusas is way too many. If it was 10,000 it would be possible

Depends on condition and desire of one looking to purchase whatever it is .
I had an 85 RZ350 we paid $2200 out the door for back then.
I saw one recently sell on Ebay for $9500 that had 300 miles on it and was like new !

With the 2010 Hayabusa not even being shipped to the USA (other than Hawaii), I wonder if Suzuki even plans on producing them in 2011? Have we seen the last run of one of the best all around motorcycles ever produced?
I wish I knew for sure, I'd buy a new one in the crate and just keep it in storage!

Thats a beliveable statistic as the sportbike market is dominated by the 600cc bikes. They are the bread and butter. As far as collectibility I would think only the 99-00 will attain that as they were unrestricted. With the advent of the BMW bike I doubt the Busa is going anywhere:beerchug:
