I would like to hook up a button to turn on or off the STRE I have on my 06 BUSA. I know some one here also did that, so could some one please tell me which wire I can safely cut and install a on-off push button switch, thanks. Going to the dragon for a week end of the month and don't need the extra low end TQ, just want the option to switch on the STRE when doing top end banazi runs,LOL.

there is no need for a tre period and you have a pc3 to boot
I just had my bike customed mapped with the STRE on it,will it effect the new map I got in it now if I remove it?,The only reason its on is to by pass the rev limiter, thats why I would like to switch it on and off. Im not saying ill go over 186mph, not saying I wont either, been close enough many times though, The new liter sport bikes are pretty fast on the top end, got to have something on them after getting toasted in the tight twisties by them ,LOL.

Run a wire spliced in before the tre to after the tre on the red wire, Put a switch in the added wire. the switch will bypass the tre if switched on.
