Ok, so what are you really thankful for?

I'm late chiming in, but I am thankful for my wonderful husband, my ever-entertaining and loving sons and my 3 step children that I never knew would be in my life, but I can't imagine living without. I have a job that offers me great opportunity and even more frustration, but it's better than not having those things at all.

I'm thankful for this cup of coffee I"m about to start, an hour later than I meant to start it...people almost died

Walk out the front door this morning and....

Drove up to the nearest town and found their 5K Park Run. Small group but very friendly.

First and foremost my wife who puts up with all my BS , all the years I enjoyed
with my son before he passed away at 34, for all my brothers and sisters that
came home from Vietnam,for the faith I have in Christ , I can go on and on so let close with I am thankful for all I have been given from family and friends on the web and off.

I'm a guy that gets to these places first thing and out of there quick.....all the "wing dings" are there now...good place to avoid.

I needed to go this afternoon, but decided to go at lunch time.
Parking lot was packed, and alot of people inside.
I got the few things I needed, and right through the self-checkout.
In and out, no problem...couldn't belive it,
I normally go late at night on friday or saturday, and I've been alot lately buying all the things for my house I realised I need, like mini-blinds, curtains, curtain rods, cleaning supplies, blah blah, etc.
A friend usually goes with me to bs...his wife was sure to point out how we looked like a gay couple buying curtains...lmao...I think.
Women...they know how to kick you when you're down, lol, 2 straight guys, one escaping his wife for an hour or 2...and me who did escape one for good, lol

An unfinished story | Random Thoughts

Just about a year ago, before we moved to New Mexico, a very close friend of ours was diagnosed with breast cancer. It's been a roller coaster of hopes and dashed hopes. Cheery test results and disastrous disappointments. One minute, everyone thinks she will do well and live another five years...
