Oil Pan Jump Line?

Picked up a Koenig 2" oil pan for my 03 Hayabusa. In the directions it states that if you're not going to use the oil cooler, you need to use a "jump line" from the engine to the pan instead of from the engine to the oil cooler and then to the pan with the other line. Trouble is the standard oil lines do not bend in the direction needed, plus only one end of the standard line has an o-ring. The other end is flat, and also, the Koenig pan is flat where the line would hook up. Anyway, what do people do about this jump line???

If you do away with the line, won't you lose oil pressure??? A quote from Koenig engineering directions states you would. I really don't understand how. You would think it's just like any four stroke engine, circulate, splash, and recover, do it again.....
