I work mids and tonight I'm off and this equals out to this post of boredumb.

Finally got up the nerve to attempt putting my bike up on the rear PitBull stand!

It wasn't anywhere near as tough as I thought it was going to be (you guys were right.. I know).

It WAS however, a bit nerve racking trying to set the posts (on the stand) in the right position!

Pic too large, click HERE!

Yep... she gets that half of the garage pretty much all to herself!  Now I can fully detail her and get the chain squared away without worry!

(I reduced the pic size for you. jwcfbd)

How long did it take you to get the balls up to use the Pitbull?

Remember the first time I took the Pitbull off of the rear by myself. That took almost one full nut.

Picked it (stand) up Saturday and yes, that battery on the floor is dead.

I've got a BUNCH of junk in the garage that either needs to be turned in, or taken out to the middle of nowhere for target practice!

Greeaaaat. Another tool I get to spend countless hours trying to figure out!

J/P. Thanx! I'll give it a shot.

Right click the picture, select Resize Picture from the drop down menu, click OK.  Even works in the window that pops up when you click the Browse button here on the org.  Like I said, an easy tool. By default, it will create a new picture by appending the size to the end of the file name, so you'll need to scroll down the browse window to find the new smaller picture.

What's the big deal about a battery sitting on the floor?

Set a battery on the ground and see what happens to it.

I put a 2X4 under the side stand before lifting, makes it alot easier to line the stand and lower also.I wouldn't walk away from it on the 2x4 though.

+1 on the 2x4. It gets the bike almost upright.

Suggestion. Save your balls for real wheelies. Trade your PitBull in on a CycleCat stand. No fuss, no muss, no stress.

Leaving a battery on concrete is a myth. I have 3 sitting in my garage right now. Been there for a while. They are not discharging. I put my battery tender on them (one at a time) and it goes green withing 5 or 10 minutes.
