I was taking my time doing it in the garage, I had the day and was in no rush................I took my time, did the OEM routing, and made it look like it was a factory install.
Love that concept, me too.

Any mods i do is with the consideration that it looks OE.

Thanks for update. I’m ordering.

After four years and many hours of use, the OEM ones are in perfect working order. A must-have for me in the winter is heated gloves and heated grips. A delight!

I believe you are correct the OEM ones are made by KOSO, but the Suzuki kit gives you the wiring harness and relay for full plug and play install.

For someone who refuses to cut OEM wires, as it causes nothing but problems later on in life, this is the game changer and worth the extra money.

Yes, had never considered fitting them to a bike because the control unit always looked cheap and nasty but my last bike came with them as OEM. Like cruise control, something I thought would be rubbish turns out to be a very good thing indeed. Currently trying to work out whether to invest in them for my Gen 3 or try heated gloves.

Grips will outlast gloves, so better to invest into grips ;)

The OEM grips have some of the cleanest look I have seen on many motorcycles to this date.
It blends into the grips really well, and simple to operate which important when riding.

Some manufactures have the dial on the end, which is the first thing destroyed in a accident or simple tip over.

I installed a set of KOSO heated grips and they are great.
They have five heat settings and I find using the second lowest or the middle setting just enough to fight off the cold.
The maximum setting may be a little too hot!

OEMs are great and look OEM. Like mine for the warmth but even better is the effect they have on aching hands on a long ride. Us older guys appreciate that.
