Took my son to local airport today to show him some hangliders, and sailplanes flying , similar to the one in the background. I went up for an hour or so. When I came back, I noticed he had tears in his eyes, and asked what was wrong. Well, he proceeded to tell me that when he was sitting on the Busa waiting for me, he got up to dismount and the bike tipped over. Luckily he did not get pinned underneath, as some people saw it happen and quickly came over to help. However I will need a 2K red/gray side cowling in the future. I've included some pics.

and you have no problem with leaving your son for a hour...by himself...possibly pinned under the bike...alone...while you take pics on your little flying extravaganza?

I guess you have a good point. However, he is 13, and was only crying because he felt bad about the damage.. Like I said, there were good people all around to pick up the bike. When he went up for an hour, all was forgotten.

You said "He went up". Does that mean he went up alone? If so in what? I am not being critical, just trying to see if the kid flew alone. That is cool. My 12 year old would dig something like that.
