I did that to my mom one time and she got mad at me because she planned a big surprise for me. Guess I beat her to it.

Two hours after telling my mom that my orders got changes and I wasn't going to make it home I was told that there was a flight leaving that night, my friends picked me up from the airport and we went straight to my moms work in my dress whites. I will never forget the look on her face.

That’s the fastest way to make me cry! Thank you to all who have served! My father is serving in Afghanistan, to my surprise I got a moral call from him this morning. It was soooooooo nice to hear his voice again.
