No Side Fairings?

I thought the same thing initially, but then I started to think. These people make a hobby/living out of going real fast and some of them run without fairings. Also note that they might run without and make the next run with.

The run without the fairings to put themselves in a different competition class, not to make them go faster. The speeds in the full fairinged classes are getting way out of the reach of most folks now.

I knew there was an explanation for it because there is no way it could be faster without the fairings

what I wanna see is someone make some fairings for the b-king..then maybe it will only be 15 feet behind me and not 1/8th mile

I also know for certain that the bike's fairings are designed in such a way to promote cooling. If you remove the fairings you will have a tough time keeping things cool on rides.
