Without side fairings?

Would it hurt to ride my Busa without both side fairings?

I took mine out without 'em last December for a last ride to try out a new Macintosh 0-6" swingarm and when I went to put the bodywork back on a couple of weeks ago I was missing a couple 5mm speednuts to secure the meter panels; # 9 in this drawing:
