thanx for allowing me to join....i also have a 2003honda rc51...but anyway i got an 02 hayabusa in a trade and the bottom end has been rebuilt and i know it was done right because i know the mech. who did it...you know plasti-gage, color codes but he said there is a bolt that has a bendover ear and an arrow on it that you turn one way and it puts tension on the crank and the other way it takes tension off....he says i need to take tension off one click because it whines on take off.....how true is this and exactly how do i do it if true......the mech. who rebuilt the bottom-end left for iraq a week ago and i can't contact him to ask....so please help

Welcome to the board.
The only thing I could find in the manual about adjusting the bearing gap is to change the bearings. I've never done this so I may have missed something.
