Hello everyone, relatively new Busa owner here in Seattle, WA.
I bought this 2005 Hayabusa on copart.com sight unseen. Based on the
description and pictures I thought I would take a chance on it.
I had to replace the left side fairing, stator and stator cover among
a few other misc parts and pieces. All of which I found on EBay for
a fraction of what the dealer had quoted.
I decided to go ahead and pull off all of the fairings and repaint
everything pure silver. I'm not a fan of the hayabusa decals.
I may add some striping to give it a little more character.
This is my first Busa. I have had various bikes over the years.
I bought one of the origional true superbikes back in 1980.
A 1980 GS1100. Back then it was an amazingly fast machine. By all
standards would hang with most of the bikes today at
a 11.10 stock quarter mile with a 150 top speed.
I will post more pics of the Busa as I get some.
