Hello! New to site, also new Hayabusa owner.. Little about me, Long time rider started on dirt bikes as a kid and at 18 jumped on My first GSXR a 1988 750 and went to a gsxr 750 1989, a 1986 GSXR 1100. Then finally bought new 1997 gsxr750 which is at the top of the list for all an time favorite. Then 1999 ZX9R Which just wasn't for me then 2000 gsxr 750. 2004 GSXR 600. 2005 GSXR 1000,2007 gsxr1000, 2007 R6 Track bike. Then in 2012 GSXR1000 that I rode for 30 mins and said I think I'm done. So Maybe its time for a Harley I've had 3 still have a road glide great for my wife to ride with me, but just dosen't put that grin on my face. My Son now 28 just purchased a new R6. Of corse that gets me on a sport bike kick LOL, So I do a search most comfortable sport bikes. There it is Hayabusa the one GSXR I never had....So I Purchased and very Happy. Glad to be back on a bike that makes me Grin! LOL Any Older riders in San Antonio always happy to go for a ride... Thanks

Sounds a bit like my experience! I just bought a 2000 Hayabusa. I'm 52. I rode a 92 750 gixxer for years. Bought a 2001 1000 and rode it for a couple. Sold it, and didn't ride until I got a Big dog custom chopper 2 yrs ago. Told myself I should slow down at my age. It sucked. Twice the money, for 1/4 the bike. Now I'm ECSTATIC and ride every mile I can again. With a giant grin
