New busa owner!

I picked up my busa on 7/5/07.

Traded in my 2005 C50 to get it... LOL, HUGE DIFFERENCE!

Well after some engine breakin, 1/2 -> 2/3rds throttle pulls to 130, I would have to say I love this bike!

Can't imagine a better bike. When I get on my friends 600RR it just seems like an uncomfortable toy.

My oil came out pretty gray looking @ 700 miles. No large pieces or anything, just a uniform gray color. Is this normal? How about the dry start after changing the oil and filter? Man, the last thing I like to hear is some lifter noise after changing the oil. It went away after idling a bit tho.

Anyway, here's a couple pics.

Next up is my tree risers, and adjustable rear links installation. I really need to lower it an inch to touch flat foot.

aboard & Congrats!

Sounds normal for the first oil change - still have the assembly lube in there affecting the color.

You'll find that the top end of the Busa engine is fairly noisy - if it sounds like an industrial sewing machine, it's normal

I love that blue.
Congratulations... and enjoy the ride.

I did the 1 inch lowering with the dogbones...and it works perfectly.

Beautiful bike, at least from what I can see of it - the light off of those reflectors are blinding me

Welcome to the oRg. Hope you enjoy your new bike.

And you really need to remove the reflectors.......

They don't make you go any faster........

Welcome . The greyish stuff in the oil is normal for the Busa and first drain .

That Pearl Blue is a nice color .

Ride safe . The speed these bikes can gather up is deceiving .
