At the annual mayors ride on saturday i had a harldy rider see my Deals Gap shirt and asked how i liked the Dragon. Of course i told him loved it i go there a couple time a year to run it. After that he proceeds in telling me about his adventures on the dragon. He summed it up to be a nice ride but he's never been on a road that had tighter turns than Needles highway near Sturgis SD.

This true? I have seen a few pics on the net and I can say yeah it tight but is it worth me trailering a bike about 1000 miles on way for?

Nope! Unless you want to do Mt Rushmore, Devil's tower, Ride through Sun Dance, visit Hot Springs, hang out at Canyon Lake Park or Custard State park, hit up Deadwood (gambling). Then the answer would be yes!

It is definitely one tight road. But I haven't been on the Dragon yet either. There is some great riding and scenery around here, so I am sure you would enjoy the trip. Busawhipped has been on both, so hopefully he can give a good comparison.
