I need some sort of device to bring all my electronics into 1 easy to use package. I just purchased a new LG Fusic phone, and since it has a GPS function, Sirius Sat radio, streaming tv, etc....I thought it would make a nice addition to the Busa electronics package. I also run an X-50 radar, and a Ipod.

I was thinking of purchasing a Bluetooth device so I could talk on the phone if I needed to take a call while riding, but not sure how well it would work on the bike. I tired using the wired mic that came with the phone, but while I was talking on the phone my test caller said they could hear a very loud whine...maybe it was the cheap mic, or maybe it is the busa electronics messing with the phone call...and I dont want to spend $200.00 on a bluetooth unit if it will do the same - anyone use a bluetooth unit with any luck while riding....save the safety lectures please.

Ok, any device that I can plug the radar, Ipod, and phone into...and if Im listening to my ipod and a call comes in, the ipod will mute and I can take the call, and when done with the call have the Ipod go back to normal playing mode?

Im not sure how to incorperate all these neat gadgets into 1 user friendly manner...so any help would be appreciated from you folks who have tested or are using a setup with good results.

Valium,
The autocom set up does exactly what you are talking about - has hook-ups for everything that you are talking about and you could even get a tranciever to be able to talk with other bikes...

Downside is that it is all hardwired... and there is new stuff coming out that is bluetooth.

Let me find you a link:

Will bluetooth fit under a helmet?

This will be an interesting setup. Keep us posted!

I'm looking for the exact same thing. I have bluetooth devices but none fits well under my helmet. Motorola make a very nice bluetooth stereo head set but it is to bulky....

As far as a wire running from the helmet, well that is no biggie, just thought I would consider wireless as an option if it even existed.

I've had very little time, and even less money lately, do you know of a good place to order one of these units from, or what I should expect to pay?

Tried using a BlueTooth inside the helmet, but there was still a lot of noise heard on the other end.

The motorola bluetooth headphones are to bulky for a helment. In addition you can not listen to music from a cell phone.Something about not obx compat. I returned my pair after 2 days, just not worth it.

the new chatterbox will be comming out in either November or December and will be bluetooth. Everything will be wired into the main unit and then sent to a bluetooth reciver that mounts to your helmet. Has headphones and a noise canceling mic kit. Should be a realy nice kit when it comes out.

The kit is gona run right around 499.

Ill let everyone know when I can get my hands on it.

Josh
