Hi Folks,

I have been scavenging the forum for a few hours now and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I need some saddle bags for the 09 Hayabusa. I am looking at the Nelson Rigg CL 950 Delux bag, and the RKA 30/50 liter bags. What I am looking for are pics of how much stuff you can acutally fit in these bags, fitment with the rear seat, and how do they affect the passenger's leg position.

The primary uses for the bags would be over night trips, so a change of clothes for each of us. Alternatively, when we do 4-500 mile days we want to be able to carry perhaps an extra layer of clothes for under the jackets (hoodie, etc). I jave a small tank bag that I can fit a few bottles of water, wallet, and cellphones, but I need some more storage.

If you could help me out with some of the pics above I would most appreciate it.

Not Nelson, but we run bags. Dont forget Blue painters tape. 6 day trip to the bash and back, packed for 2 people.

I have those bags, in fact used them on a 1500-mile road trip I just finished. Its capacity is rated for 20 liters (per bag) and it delivers as advertised. I have not used it with a passenger though

Nelson Rigg saddlebags and tail bag. Speed tested up to 140 and didn't move an inch.
No room for passenger though.

Two fallon gas can in it and it was still zipped on the bottom which would have given me about three inches more vertical space.

I love em. Only complaint is the turbulence between me and backpack constantly made my jacket rise up?
Need some hockey style Velcro straps sewn into back to clip around my belt to keep jacket down.
