Bridgestone makes great tires! The BT015 is a great street performance tire. They warm up quickly and on a warm summer day, you can lean your busa over until the hard parts get scuffed from asphalt. Even the older version (BT014) was a great tire. I went through a number of sets and was quite pleased.

The BT021 is also a very good tire but is meant more for touring. Although it has plenty of grip for the everyday rider, it's a bit slippery if you are a knee dragger. The 21 will give you much better mileage than any performance tire.

I am a bit partial to the Dunlop Qualifiers and the Pirelli lll's myself. Both give outstanding performance at the expense of high mileage.

I have BT-015s on my '08, and I love them!

I don't know about how long they will last under normal use yet. I'm on my 2nd rear, as I caught a real nice nail in my original. I liked the performance enough to track down another 014, instead of swapping out the tires altogether.

I have BT-21s. Sticky enough for me. Might want something grippier when doing trackdays and wanting to improve lap times by being able to get on the gas earlier. But for everyday riding and regular canyon carving, BT-21s will let you scrap all hard parts while still giving you more mileage.

I have BT-021s at the moment, good tyre but I have an issue with the front wear. Here's a post I created last month:

Looks like B-stone are having a problem with the BT021 wear. I bought a set of BT014s tonight and will get them fitted tomorrow.

I don't have any experience with 015s. But after using a set of BT-021s, I can describe them in 2 words, "they suck".
This is after 5000 miles with 1100 of those miles being on the slab going to Indianapolis and back.

They were very sketchy and dead feeling, almost like the front was half flat all the time. The last 500 miles before I changed them, they were almost unridable. Sorry excuse for tires in my book.
In all fairness I've heard that they improved them in later batches.
But improved or not, I'll never buy another set and wouldn't reccomend them to anyone. A double for 'em.

oh yea, the BT021 is a great touring tire... front is TOAST at 5K and the back not much better.. (in straight lingo? POS)

Bridgestone has told me the fixed the issue but I have not hung the new set on yet.. I thought they handled terrible compared to the Pirelli Corsa 3 (at about the same mileage too) HillbillyTom had the same experience I did.. never felt "solid" to me at all..

Dunlop Qualifiers were a great tire for me.. but only got about 1000 miles out of the set I have on and they are about done..

I have a set of BT016's and BT021's on the floor brand new.. the 016 go on next..

Pirelli Corsa3 and the Dunlop Qualifiers are my 2 choices (Corsa gets the nod due to mileage 3000-6000M depending on how you are riding them..

I'm on second set of 21 on rear. I got Pilot Road 2 CT on front. They seem match pretty well. PR2 has about 6000 miles on it and still has some more left. Last BT21 lasted 6000 miles plus. My main course is Angeles Crest Highway and it gives me what I need. Sport Touring tires are so well constructed, I don't think average rider can out run them.

5000 miles and the front was about done. Ive never had a front tire wear out before the back. I was thinking about trying the avon storms.

Never tried the b-stone's,but you should try the dunlop Quialifer front with the dunlop roadsmart rear.Good combo for wear and performance.
