My Renthal 16T front sprocket whines abit......

I was wondering if its normal for my Renthal front 16 toother to whine. I know my stock front had the big rubber damper on it, prolly to keep the whine down. Its lubed and adjusted perfectly, and everythings working fine....it just has a whine....quieter at some speeds, louder at others. Wondering if its normal or should I be worried?

It's normal. The rubber dampners cut down on noise, vibration and harshness, too bad the aftermarket stuff doesn't come with them also. Few hundred miles, you won't even hear the whine.

same thing here .first ride after installing starteled me it whined so much. 1000 miles later i dont seem to notice as moondog stated.
