I go to the dealer today for oil and this pencilneck kid salesman starts humping my leg about buying a bike as soon as I walk in. I told him I already have a Busa. He says "oh...I like these bikes" pointing to the 600 and 1000's. "I like to corner and get crazy. I scrape my pegs in the corners!"

I'm like DAMN! That's awesome....sometimes I have to go 20-30 miles out of my way to avoid any roads with curves. Scaping the pegs! Wow!

Then I go to the parts counter for oil and they try and sell me everything except oil. I know it's their job but it gets annoying after a while. The dude kept trying to unload a full 4 into 1 system on me. I told him, dude...I'm 245 lbs....do I need to worry about a few extra lbs of exhuast? I AM interested in a tre and power commander so I can gain 50 hp, though.....just kiddin.

dealers all suck, they claim if you purchase a bike or car it is under warrenty at all dealerships of that product,Just try going to a dealer were you didnt purchase with a majer problem. All they want is your $$ you have to go there with somebody that already goy bike+see how they are treated.
Once the salesman gets your $$ your done with him anyway its the parts or service dept you may or may not deal with after.

not true... i bought a car at a dealership 140 miles away... i'll be damned if i'm going to take it all the way back there just because my check engine light comes on... which it did after the first 4 gas fill ups... i took it to the dealership in town here where i live and got it fixed with out any problems what so ever... to say one car dealership that sells fords wont fix a car that was bought at another ford dealership is just wrong... ford is ford is suzuki is suzuki...doesnt matter where you bought it...

! We're nicer, and living in small communities makes it even better YEEEEEE HAAAAAAAA

. Big cities generally don't give service anywhere close to what a small single dealership in a small community does !

pay 20.00 for the yearly membership with Amziol and get it direct for about 5.00/qt..There is a guy that comes out to the QSL on Wed nights that has a trailer full of it....he can bring it for pickup if you like.....then order a case of suzuki filters from GMbusa for about another 100.00 so then you can AVOID the dealer unless necessary!

Technically you're right, however motorcycle dealerships tend to take things more personal than car dealerships.
Drop your Busa off at a different dealer and almost everytime you'll be greeted with an attitude and questioned why you aren't taking it back to where you bought it. Also bikes that were bought there will be serviced first while yours sits in a corner collecting dust.

I live in TX..We have an excellent Bike Dealership...they don't haggle you...they call you by your last name "Hi Mr So-and-So" how is that Busa....They remember you...It is that personal touch that keeps me coming back...Besides, out of all the places to go in Dallas, they by-far have the best Service Dept...This is the only place that will get my $$$...http://www.planokawasakisuzuki.com/

I'm lucky to have a good dealer as well. Donnell's in independence, Mo. Everyone in the place treats me like a king!
