Had to watch it twice. The sound is gut-wrenching.

Seen it before; doesn't look like he misjudged as bad as the tire coming out from under him; he was tucked in low enough and his form looked pretty good. Bike would have held on a track.

he was whacking on the throttle pretty hard... off/on/off/on was a stupid way to be riding given the conditions and location.. dragging a knee against an armco barrier with heavy traffic... fool....

It looks, to me at least, that when that oncoming car can into his eyeline, he hesitated just a bit, maybe cut the throttle, or at least stopped accelerating, which broke the back end loose and sent it around.

Hope he's alright.

That sort of sheetz happens when showing off for the camera! Bad judgment on the riders part as well as bad judgment on the location to set up for camera shots!

Looks to me like he just tipped it over too far and lowsided. Camera will do that to you, hope he wasn't hurt.
Bet the person in that car the bike hit wasn't too pleased either.

This is one good reason to NOT pretend you're some GP superstar. Hope he is ok.
