I get alot better mileage with my wife on the back. I do not understand why you don't.

42 mpg? i get about 26 on average

26? What are you doing? It may be the type of gas you are using.

If I am riding at normal highway speeds and kinda easy around town, I average 42 to 44 mpg...
If I twist it up, the average drops to about 30 to 32mpg...
I don't recall ever seeing it below that...

and i come in at 300 myself.
