Ok I changed my faceplates and gauge leds. Installed the needles back on. And was hoping to reset my meter as per instructions in the manual. This is what the manual reads:
"If the meter does not point to Zero, follow the procedure below to reset the meter:
1. Press and hold the ADJ Button and turn on the ignition switch
2. Hold the ADJ Button for 3-5 seconds
3. Release the ADJ Button. Rap the ADJ Button twice
Note: Reset procedure, from step 1 to step 3, should be performed within 10 seconds."
I followed the instructions but no reaction at all... Has anyone tried doing this? I tried with kill switch on and kill switch off. So I am pressing and holding ADJ button, turning switch, ADJ button still held and wait for 3-5 seconds, then removing finger then pressing then removing then pressing (Thats what I understand from RAP THE ADJ BUTTON TWICE). Any ideas?
