I got tired of the clock's sticky button, the hard to see digital readout, resetting itself when the battery is disconnected, the press-press- hold-release counterintuitive setting procedure (combine that with the sticky button and it takes me forever)

so....

I went to Sprawl-Mart purchased a cheap water resistant analog wrist watch. With a Dremel I ground off the pointy things that hold the strap on and stuck it to the face of the tach with several layers of double sided carpet tape.

Here's a pic.
