Also nice to know we have a President that respects those sacrifices.

I'm curious if this comment was in jest.  I think the picture is truly sad and I'm curious if, much like Vietnam is viewed now, whether or not this "war" will be viewed as purposeful in 30 years.

Respect the soldiers.....question the president.

No jest...perfectly serious. One of the goals of Vietnam was to start the demise of Communism. So in light of the historical retreat of communism, Did we actually loose the war? Nice to see the President taking action when there was so little in the face of acts of terrorism with the prior administration. I respect the President and the fact that we still have the same heroic souls around today that we did back then, our Soldiers.
