The world just lost another youngster!

His name was Shane. A good friend of mine knew him. He said Shane was careless about his riding, and thought he was invincible on the streets. I don't have the details of the crash yet, but I wanted other young riders to know about this too. Youth doesn't make-up for lack of smarts!

Shane's funeral will be next week. My prayers go out to the family and friends that Shane left behind.

Sorry to hear that man.

None of us are invincible.

The family will be in my prayers.

Sorry to hear that. Condolences to friends and family.

I'm one of the young ones, but I'm smart enough to know the dangers of the road... I've been going more and more to the track. I figure it's a much better place to let testosterone get the better of me

Anyways, it really sucks hearing about all the riders that are going down.... we really have to be more careful when we're on the road... Remember, the world's out to get us when we hop on our bikes!

Your heads in the right place Grasshopper. Keep it there and you should have many, many, many more years of motorcycling enjoyment!

Cheers!

You Know, it is so easy to get caught up in our sport bike riding that we kinda take life for grat it . we go out there on the streets balls to the wall not thinking of what might happen but what is happening at that time, you know if your crusing down the street or highway and a couple guys pull beside you and give you that look like come on! or pass you flying at high speed, what's the first thing that comes to your head catch them right !. this is what I mean ,Like last month I'm at Deals Gap going threw the turns at my pace which wasnt that aggrisive but at what I think was comfortable for me to ride and I get threw it , so I get to the outlook and we are setting there with a guy that lives in the area and rides this road lot more than we do and more experienced for sure . so we head back in and he's off flying threw those curves like I never seen, so what did I do I tryed to keep up going over what i was comfortable with , I never was able to catch him and luckly I didnt eat either. but when I came out at the other end of the gap and got off my bike I was shaking , I said to myself what a freaking dumb ass I was to even try something so stupid and out of my relm .BUT I GOT CAUGHT UP IN THE HIPE OF THINGS ,and it's not worth it . Please everyone ride what your able to ride dont let other people or even friends push you into somthing that your not ready for or ever will be.
