"Loose" kickstand

Didn't find anything when searching this...

The other day I noticed my kickstand was a little tougher to put down. I put the bike on a stand and had a look. The part the stand bolts too has metal on metal wear marks that I don't remember being there, but the kick stand feels a bit loose. Almost like the fork portion of the stand has spread. The bolt is tight. The should be some side to side movement, right? Is this a common thing with busas?...ill post a pic soon

I wondered that...It doesn't look like it. I've been meaning to do it myself. Here's a pic...

Try a drip of oil on the stand,when mine gets harder to move i add 1 drop and works alot better

I put some lube on it...works smooth now. I was just worried if it was a sign of failure.
