Loose FI's/ Throttle Body

Frustrated w/ recent bog/surge on throttle, gen running like crap, back firing, stalling at idle etc. Went thru usual steps: (New batt, rect, stator. 6mnths on plugs & cleaned fuel injtrs) I adj throttle cables, new filter 'sock' (dirty & clogged), dbl checked sensor connects & vacuum lines etc but prob actually got worse. Then last nite I checked end FI connection & noticed injector isn't seated tight & turns rather easily by hand. The other 3 also turn w/ a little more force but not much. My quest bfr I head out to bike shortly is: should the fuel injectors be tightened to point I can't turn by hand? Back out the 4 screws then give each a good tightening?

I would make sure their o-rings are not hard or dry-rotted either.
If you replace the o-rings, put a light coat of vaseoline on them to prevents cuts, tears, or rolling when the injectors get pushed in.
