haha yah its easy man i thought the same way put some tape on there.. so the thing wont splinter. take off the origianal center clutch cover the part with the 3 screws. hold it un place where it would be in front of the fairing and trace on the tape with black magic marker remove fairing and cut its easy takes 10 minutes.
