i race an 1/8 of a mile so i was woundering what mods i could do to get more out of what i got
What he ^ said!you can put a 16/42 combo on it and put all tall stacks in the air box that will help with low end power.
We got a 1/8 mile track close. 16/42, Lowering links, strap, Pipe, Shinko are some things to consider. Ludicrous Speed has run 6.50's stock bike, 16/42, Shinko and airshifter, stock exhaust. He's a big guy, prolly weighs 240 or so. I'm running 6.60's, 112mph, 1.70's 60 ft, 6" over arm, 2nd hole 'bones, strapped, yosh pipe, 16/40, shifter and Shinko. I weigh about 280 w/gear.the 16 42 works for yall
is there any body that races the 1/8 mile
OK...Bottom line is your 60's suck and bad...Concentrate on the clock and only the clock...I don't care how many bike you race it's the clock that's your opposition...Get your confidence up and address your 60' that's where your time is...ok here is some of my 60 and 330 times
2.196,5.296
1.974,5.296
2.165,5.263
1.930,4.983
1.869,4.838
and i still have not done the 16/42
Like Stunnah said, your 60' times need work. Try leaving at a higher rpm and slipping the clutch. If you get your 60' lower, your et will drop all by itself. Practice is the key. I don't know if there are some deserted areas around where you live, (country roads, industrial parks at night, etc.) but try and find a good stretch of road and launch, run out first, stop and repeat as many times as you can. Practice slipping your clutch and getting the throttle wfo as fast as you can. it'll come together for ya, just keepm after it.ok here is some of my 60 and 330 times
