Longer clutch line?

Hi everyone, long time lurker, finally decided to register cause I have a question some of yall might know the answer to.

My busa is an '07 and I installed 1" risers on her and I want to install heli bars as well. Some have said I don't need longer lines, but I'd like to go ahead and add longer lines just for the heck of it.

The mechanic that I go to says I'd need a longer clutch line, but he can't make one, so he said I'd need to remove the risers to install the Heli's.

Question, is he right? Does he not know what he's talking about? Do I even need a longer clutch line for 1" risers + heli's?

And where is a good place to buy a longer set of lines?

many guys running the spacer with heli's on stock lines...however longer ones never hurt...measure the stock line and any supplier should be able to order custom sizes for you.
