From the looks of it, if Suzuki massages the 1300 proportionately, I'm thinkin it's gonna spell doom for the 14. Let's see....1199 CC's massaged out to 1352. If 'Zuk does the same, that means that it'll come out to around 1450.

Out of everything, that's the one thing I want most from the 2007 Busa.

There are so many more factors involved than just the top speed element.
Having those bragging right was just the writing on top of the cake, not the icing or double layers below.
Fit and finish is real high on my list and Suzuki does that magnificantly.
Ease of maintaining it is also way up there.
Availability of both stock and aftermarket parts.
The outstanding motor, which is bulletproof in stock form, and highly accepting of Turbo's, laughing gas or whatever other go fast product you would want for it
It took Kawasaki a long time to catch up and a new and improved Busa is probably right around the corner.
Who in God's name likes all those lights strung across the front, never mind the grills on the side.
I think I'll just keep my Busa, and wait for the ZX-13.5 to be it's own worst enemy cause you know there are defects and recalls on the way.
Plus you meet the nicest people riding the Busa.

as far as being the fastest bike, it did matter when all the article popped up about busa beaters. But now that the reality of it become much closer....well it doesn't anymore.
