I just bought a Garmin 60CS. I posted on the forum asking members what kind of GPS they have... and to help me decide which one to get.
It was one of the spur-of-the-moment purchases. I hate that kind of purchase, too
Anyway I went to our local Gander Mountain store hoping to have a look at different GPS's. As I said it was a spur-of-the-moment, so you know it was a rash decision. After looking for a while and talking to the salesman I went ahead and bought the 60CS.
I took it on a short car trip, just to see how it worked. OMG I love this GPS. While in the store looking, I kept telling myself not to buy it because I could get it cheaper online. I bought it anyway... for too much money.
When I got back from the trip I looked online for prices. Damn, I knew I shouldn't have paid that much! What's this? A low price guaranty
To keep the story short(er). Their website says they will match online prices. So, I found a couple of low, online sites and went back to the store where I proceeded to get a $108 refund... Yes!
I can't wait to see how far off my speedometer is. Thanks for listening.
