I was wearing Kevlar DragginJeans during my crash. The pants tore but the Kevlar didnt. I ended up with what was like a bad rug burn under the kevlar. The wound was very clean, all they did was put a bandage on it when the EMT's got there. Healed up pretty quick.

the ones i was wearing are made by Fast Company, Draggin' Jeans They were one of the first makers of these.

I did a lowside at about 25 with 2-360 deg rolls. Two rug-burned knees and a couple cracked ribs. Swerved to miss a car in my lane around a corner on a backwoods road. Caught the burm and down i went.

that's a good price. i picked up a pair of red route riding jeans at cycle gear. they have kevlar in knees, seat and hips. they also have pockets in the knees and hips. put ce armor in knees and padding in hips for more protection. better safe than sorry.
