Just wondering about

I removed the airbox and noticed an extra hose nipple @ front lower area of the airbox there is no hose that goes to it and it is not capped off. Anyone know why? Nothing wrong with bike and it runs fine just wondering..

What year busa? and do you have a more detailed description of size and placement?

Don't have one close to me now... is it in the filtered or non-filtered part of the box. I thought everything at the front would not be filtered. That is where I would expect the drain.

Are you sure the one you are talking about at the rear is not the one that connected to the vent at the top of the motor? should be another to supply air to the pair valve that would be filtered.

Yes that is the nipple I am talking about. I don't see a loose hose any where. Should it be capped off?

I have the manual on CD rom, It does not show that nipple..

a tuner told me there are two sensors somewhere in the airbox: something about pressure and maybe temperature also.
