Just installed a micron full system and i had a qu

the whole install went smooth and i toke her for a ride and i noticed some light smoke coming from the headers...could this be because i dont have my power commander installed yet? i have heard that some light smoke comes off brand new exhausts but this exhaust is used. any help is apprciated.

did you use any wd40 or anything to help slide the pipes together?
or could be the oil in your fingerprints
should go away after 5 minutes or so

i didnt use anything to help put it in, and it didnt go away after 5 min

check to make sure its not touching fairing anywhere

most likly it's just the oils from manufacturing burning off but like Attic said make sure it's not touching the plastic anywhere.

My exhasut smoked like hell when i put it on but i just changed my oil look and make sure noting is touching

Did the engine expire on the bike the exhaust came from? Sounds like it may have had some residual oil or antifreeze built up in the system. If thats the case it will burn off and go away.
