JUST GOT NEW HAYABUSA

You need to read the break-in procedures on the Motoman website, no more of the long break-in miles.

I did my break-in his way and it's great! I went for the 600mile service (2nd oil change) and the dealer said whatever i was doing, to keep doing it, cause everything on the bike was good and the oil looked good too.

After reading the info from Motoman, i'll never break-in the OEM way again.
 
Break her in , but not too easy. Chech out the moto man like they say and use your own judgement. I wouldn't
take her above 8000 for a few miles.have fun on her ,but respect her. Welcome to the board:D

I always love hearing the first impression when someone throws their leg over a Busa, it's always "WOW" or "IT HANDLES GREAT" - love that stuff
