are the mirrors on my K8 a bit crap?

I know I shouldn't make comparisons but the mirrors on my GS are a million times better - they're used more for to see who's coming up from behind rather than who I'm about to leave behind on my Busa but even so

Yeap their pretty useless but you've hit the nail on the head, You don't need to see behind you when your the fastest thing moving.

well i added the mirror spacers on my 07 they work great useable mirrors who would have thunk! why the manufacturers dont add an inch to the mirror stalk so you can use them is totaly beyond me. every road test on every sport bike you read the mirrors suck but they never do anything about it.

i used mirrors of an kawa 1400

There are mirror spacers on ebay I found for about $60

Get the gxxr1000 mirrors. There like $35-40 and your not looking at your elbows. Combine them with the mirror extenders and your all good.
