I have a 06 limited and the first year I own her yes I did push her hard and to see if I had
the balls to do it. well after burying the speedometer I felt that was good enough.
this summer I think I only had her up to 125 but sadly I only put about 600 mile on her because of the crappy rainy so called summer we had.

I test my speedometer often to make sure it will still do a full sweep, I'm afraid if I don't, in time it might not go that far anymore. Just routine maintenance

Moved up to MD from Florida and had no idea that if you were on I66 in Virginia which some parts are 55 going 80 is actually a first degree misdemeaner against the common wealth and punishable with a $2500 fine and one year in jail.

And yes people do time there for speeding, some squids going 100 there a couple months ago go directly to jail, bike impounded served six months, plus the $2500 AND six month suspension AFTER release.

I avoid VA like the plauge when on the busa now.

Yeah, VA is a horrible state...once I paid $896 ticket and license suspension for going at 85ish/65... no i wasnt driving my Mustang crazy..it was 3-4AM in the morning and absolutely no one was near around me within a mile. He was just hiding behind the bushes, just like they do and got me on radar (i didnt have my radar detector back then ).

It's considered reckless driving over 80 in VA and your fine doubles.

On my way to work theres a flat . no driveways road about a mile long.. so as im come around the curve you can see everything.. IF its all clear and NO on coming traffic . It's time to fly..I usely let off after I pin the speedo

The poll isn't fair. I pick my place and time, but have no fear. Of course I'm not sustaining my high speed. I hit my topspeed for a few seconds and then roll off. I've never had a fear of highspeed and I seldom do it.
