These are pics of guys bike that stays in the same hotel as I do. He and his buddies all bought bikes Friday. Needless to say he only had about a 1/4 mile ride from his buddies hotel to this one and he lays it down coming into the parking lot. I talked to one of his buddies as he walked the bike back and said they were taking him to the hospital to get checked out.

Yea I don't claim myself to be a great rider by no means. But watching this guy get on this bike and leave the hotel made me nervous! One of those WIGGLE, WIGGLE, BRAAAAPP kinda take offs! LOL

You can't just jump on a motorcycle and ride it ... Everyone falls off when they're learning .... I'm glad only his pride got injured, the bike can be repaired.

My friend did the same thing the other day on the bike I got him. His sin was target fixation. Totally avoidable while getting on the on-ramp. I asked him what he was looking at when he was crashing and he said "the grass, why......oh....dammit" so he knew. i said just dont be scared to get back on and remember the mistake. He is taking the msf class so he will be a better rider all around i think.

sucks he went down but glad to see he lived and learned a very expensive lesson. When I started riding a year ago I started out with a cbr 600, took my msf course and rode the 600 for a few months until I was sure & ready for an upgrade and went from the 600 to the busa

I don't think he was traveling more than 20-25 mph or atleast he shouldn't have. I looked as I was going out this morning for skid marks but didn't notice any. I think he was just coming in to hot and tried to cut up the driveway in which is covered in sand and loose dirt which turned in to an element for disaster.

thats gonna hurt the pockets as well as his pride. hopefully he has good friends that will encourage him to get it fixed and take the proper MSF course as well as his time.

I don't think he has that kind of friends. I've seen them riding around. Kinda like comparing gramps on his moped and someone with a high level of confidence that rides like a real @$$!!

Hope peer pressure had nothing to do with it

Maybe some indirect pressure from himself. The guys he rides with "SEEM" to be decent riders at least have that high level of confidence and he is just trying to do what they do. But then again it could've been in the turn with the loose ground and one twist to much on the throttle.
