The BRAKER strobes brightly for a few seconds every time you hit the brakes.

.........After a few seconds the lights stays bright as long as your foot is on the brake.

unless you have an integrated tail, go for it. i've thought about grabbing some for my jeeps.

I don't think MB was interested for whatever reason. The article is from 05 and I'm sure they've ordered more bulbs since then.

yep, you just replace the rear bulbs.

I haven't taken the rear taillight apart...I assume there's 2 bulbs in the tail...right?

yup, take the hump off, reach in, bulbs twist out. replace bulbs with blinker led's, put hump back in place, good to go.

dunno if this is really a good idea.

i have no prob. w/ brake light modulators but generally they flash the turn signals or 1 of 2 rear brake lights, but if it flashes both or all the brake lights then turns solid, it's gonna confuse people behind you.

then there's the whole , dunno if it's legal to "flash" red lights.
