Mine is 2006 model gen1 3.700 km on the clock, all stock except acropovic slip ons. I owned him on January 18th of 2011, The bike run seldomly up to day and really good apperiance w,th out any tuch up or paint on it.
My idle speed after warm up was at 1.000 rpm (flactuating between 1.100-1.000).
So;
1) I inspect the air cleaner is in good condition, I cleaned with high air pressure also.
2) I set up the idle speed app. to 1.150 rpm but flactuating is going on (1200-1100)
My questions are;
1) Is this fluctuation normal? If not, I think to inspect the spark plugs. Service book tells the spark plugs need to be changed every 12 months, 24 months for the air filter. Do you think that I have to change two of them even they are in good conditions.
2) Does slip-ons effects the idle flactuation, I have unused stock slip-ons also. Does it work if I switch to the originals.
Stock air filter on it, stock spark plugs olso (no replacement up to day)
