I live in the largest neighborhood in Alabama, around 3k homes and every year it's feast or famine. I've had a TON of lil ones this year and I'm about out of candy.

I try to avoid it or buy cheap ass candy to hand out. However the Commissary on base had those large bags of Butterfingers, CRUNCH, and Baby Ruth for $1.00 each. How can you beat that?

and duty free

I haven't given out candy in 25 years. Always out with the kids. My stepdaughter has a few more years and then I'll take my turn at handing out the goods.

We had 212 little trick-or-treaters come to our house. We also spent about $120 on candy this year. Well worth it!!!
We set up the fire pit in the driveway with a nice fire goin to keep warm.
Had the neighbors kids come over and sit with us also to hand out candy.
Fun Time!!!!! :beerchug:

We went to the Chiefs/ Chargers Monday night Football game, so I did the bowl full of candy on the porch deal too. When we got home, the bowl was empty, so we either had a bunch of kids, or just one who is sick today from eating too much candy.

How would you feel if people were like that when you were a kid ? I get about 150 kids average here and its cools to see all the costumes .

We have a huge sense of community in our hood. We set up a table with refreshments and adult beverages along with a cauldron of candy. Probably see about 300-400 kids.
People come from all over to hit our community. It's awesome. We were out of candy by 8:30.
