I did a stage 1 pickup of the work area.. looks much better..
The office networks I work all run proprietary software (most of which is not Vista compatible).. I have managed in a couple offices to make Vista work but honestly it is a total waste of time and resources..
Vista is NOT a work network friendly OS... to much built in security, and having to retrain end users to work around some of the other issues makes it a complete waste of money IMO..
XP Pro "WORKS" and it does a great job. We changed out some 2000+ systems for Avery last spring and it was 100% XP.. the OS and network are rock solid.. why mess with it...
My problem is more and more "phone" support issues with home users and "Vista" I can not by memory navigate all the screens etc like XP.. So I have to bite the bullet..
